Using Digi 003 for LIVE SOUND
Has anyone ever used a Digi 003 Factory for live sound? I know there's only 8 inputs so it wouldn't be a huge band... I was offered to do sound for a service and record it as well.

Also, how can I go about adding more inputs to my 003? (hardware) ...as I am looking into more live recordings in the future. I don't have a huge budget so don't suggest a C24 or VENUE.. haha.

I don't know whether anyone's used a 003 to engineer and record a live gig before but this sounds like a great plan!! You could use an 8 channel A/D with pre-amps that has an optical i/o and daisy chain it with the 003.. I guess that should do it...

You could, but quick access to aux sends might be an issue.
