Schoeps MK4 or MK41 help

Hi,
I'm looking for capsules for a couple of Schoeps CMC 5 bodies ... either MK4 or MK 41, ideally.
Wonder if anyone at this end of the forums might be able to direct me to good used sources for such.
Any leads most appreciated.

Scott

Try taperssection.com Yard Sale. They sometimes have what you are looking for.

You guys are great.

Thanks Matti ... i see a couple of candidates listed in those links.

Any thoughts as to wether nickel or gold best for purpose of recording a variety of acst. instruments?

Sorry for such a noob Q. ... guessing you can tell I'm a bit new to the Schoeps game!

thanks again,
scott

Do you mean the capsule skin material?
Nowadays they are usually made of gold sputtered PET polyester, Schoeps included.
-The outside finish can be nickel or dark grey Nextel and that is a pure aesthetics thing
although I prefer the Nextel ones for less visibility on many situations

Ahhh!
I see.
Thanks for clarifying.
When i saw MK4ni i thought maybe these might be like Gefell, for instance who offer different capsule material (and size) options for stock 692 bodies...
Apologies. My bad!

Back in the day Neumann made some mics with nickel membranes, mk88 and mk54 come to mind...
