How many AE's does to change a lightbulb?

How many engineers does it take to change a light bulb?

One. Upon finding no replacement, he takes the original apart, repairs it with a chewing gum wrapper and duct tape, changes the screw mount to bayonet mount, finds an appropriate patch cable, and re-installs the bulb fifty feet from where it should have been, to the satisfaction of the rest of the band.

OR...

"Hey man, I just do sound."

Five. One to do it and four more to talk about how much better Andy Wallace would have done it.

Q: How many AE's does it take to change a light bulb in Abbey Road?

A: Four.

One to change the bulb. One to move the required ladder into the exact position. One to switch the newly fitted bulb on and one to sit at the back of the room and say 'I like that bulb but the previous bulb was better...'

My comedy sucks...

Actually, the correct answer is 5.

You first gotta get permission to change the lightbulb!

And then lists it on e-bay as a Neve clone.

How many therapists does it take?

Tell me how you feel about the dark.

How many jewish mothers? (or insert your own ethnicity)

Don't worry about me, I'll just sit here in the dark. Alone. You go out and have fun. Just because I gave birth to you doesen't mean that you should have to do anything extra for me. You go on and have fun.

Singers?

One. She puts her hand up and the world revolves around her.

Bassists?

None, the keyboardist does it with his left hand.

Producers?

What do you think?

Just one AE to change it . . .

. . . a few musicians to tell him it's not "warm" or "punchy" enough

. . . and a bunch of other people to take credit for it once it's done.

Incandescent or flourescent? How many watts? What kind of room will it be used in? Do you like that natural daylight look, or something more colored? Nothing beats a vintage GE or Sylvania. You have to have good eyes, or light bulbs won't do anything for you. Why don't you go to a lighting showroom and compare them? Professionals will give you better illumination anyway. And forget those cheap Chinese light bulbs, it's all hype.-Richie

We'll know as soon as we find the recall notes from the last lightbulb change.

At least two...

one to change it, the other(s) to say how much better the room would be if they used this tool, and that tool, and recabled the entire electrical system with Mogami...

or....

None...they'll just fix it in the mix by re-aiming the remaining bullbs and covering up the dark spot...

or...

None, until they get a consensus opinion from several newsgroups...
