| colossus on powerbook for live setup? hi there, I'm wondering if any of you uses the colossus library from eastwest with a powerbook for a live setup. I like what i've heard but I'm wondering if my powerbook G4 with 512Mo Ram will be enough for the library. I cannot add more memory since it only allows 512Mo on this model. Also I'd like to know how the latency is and how many patches you can run. I don't want to have to wait for 30seconds for loading the patches between each song! I also will need to change my internal hard drive since I'll need 30Go of space which I don't have right now. Do you think I can stick with a 5400RPM or will I benefit from using a 7200RPM? (Any good URL for cheap hard drives is also welcome :-) Thanks for your advice :-) Vincent |
