I use Pro Tools for most of my editing because it's what I am used to and I am very proficient with it, and the crossfade editor is usually more than adequate once you understand how to use it, but it is still nowhere near as elegant as Sequoia for EDL-type editing.

Add to that the mastering and CD authoring abilities of Sequoia, and there is really no comparison. Pro Tools has its uses, but it is not designed with the classical producer in mind.
Same here. Can't say I'm a fan of using Pro Tools, but when I'm dealing with pop-style production, it is hard to beat. When I'm working to click with multiple playlists and such, it is a great way to work. The crossfade options really suck, but for many of these projects, I end up exporting the project into Sequoia, tweak the edits that don't work there and do my mix where I'm happiest.
