Question Mini decca tree.

- Why ?
- For small ensemble ?
- What dimension ?

You have used a mini decca tree ? How it work ?

Is similar at 3 distanced omini technique ?

Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra uses this small tree as their main house array ... not a small ensemble, plus Music Hall is just about the largest orchestral venue on earth (> 3500 seats). The tree is mounted with DPA subcards. They also fly flanking MK2Hs.

You can hear this setup on the following:

Amazon.com: American Portraits: Coleman, Higdon, Cincinnati Sym Orch, Jarvi: Music

Williams has a three card array I toyed with a bit. It works well. I may have to play with it some more.

Stupid M/S question...
