Your probably right Chris, it will probably pick up some reflection. But I played the original sample that I posted here to the choir a few days ago, and they were ecstatic about the quality. So they probably wouldn't be able to hear any reflections off the pulpit either. I may try to borrow an nt4 for a rehearsal and see how it sounds. I shouldn't need any additional gear to reroute it back to the PA. That would also mean I would have control over what get's sent back over the PA system.

Again, not ideal. But it would be a very simple set-up, it would probably sound half decent, and nobody would know that I was recording.

No harm in experimenting, but those reflections can alter the frequency response in unexpected ways.
