Lightbulb Need 2 channel interface with 12V phantom to use in absence of mains power?

I'm looking to get an audio interface with two channels that will provide phantom power without being connected to the mains. I could use something like an Avid MBox but the 48V drain on a laptop's battery makes it a far from optimal solution.

Is there anything on the market in broadcast format like the Shure FP33 that will deliver 12V phantom but also has a USB or FW connection to double as an audio interface?

Thanks for any suggestions,

Batteries are going to be drained. Get a big laptop battery, or get another 5V battery for the USBPre2.

Echo's Audiofire 4 has four analog I/O with two mic pre inputs with 48V phantom supply.

It can be powered via 6/9 pin firewire but also via a 12V battery.

Small package, small price, great sound quality and bench performance.

One of these in line?

Phantom Power Supplies

I have a single Deneke phantom power that uses a 9volt & goes for days. Used with my old DAT that didn't power the mic.
