Question Rental house in Cleveland, OH?

Hi,

I'm going to be in Cleveland recording a live show in a few weeks, and I'll need to rent a few items (splitter box, a few pres, etc.) Can anyone suggest a rental house in the area? Thanks.

Hey leadvox I'm from Cleveland its pretty hard to get things in this town. I would try Eighth Day Sound they might have the stuff your looking for, but you will pay for there stuff. I could help you find some stuff like splitter and things, but if you need more then just normal PA company things it gets difficult, Preamps and things are hard to find.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I've been spoiled by the ready availability of good, cheap rental gear here in LA. Luckily, I don't have to rent all that much stuff. I need to get my hands on a transformer Isolated splitter (4 channels should be good), and I was hoping to find a few channels of 1073s or the like. Those, in combination with my gear should be enough for the job. Any Cleveland area slutz have some good pres they'd like to rent out for a day? Pleeeeeeease?

Good luck finding your stuff, I'll keep in eye and ear open for things.
Don't know of any good pre's in this town from rental companys, hopefully someone will step up and help you out.

I second Eight Day Sound...

If they don't have what you need, I'm sure they can direct you towards the right place.

Eight Day 800.800.2990 or 216.961.2900

All the best...

Thanks for the replies, guys. No luck at any of these places, or any other places I've called. Here's my last shot at finding a rental place or even another slut that would like to make a few bucks and earn some good karma. My gig is on Friday. thanks.

Get the splitter from Eighth Day, and the 1073s from Jim Flynn Rentals, Steve Remote, or anyone who will rent and fedex/UPS to you. Got a relationship in Nashville? They're closer... or start looking towards Chicago.
