Question Online UPS in 1U rack space

been using Cyberpower online UPS (4 of them) for our rigs the last 3 years with great success. no trouble, saved our butts number of times, and definitely paid itself over and over.

now we're looking to build mobile flight packs with as small of a footprint as possible. the Cyberpower is great but it's 2U. can anybody recommend an online UPS in a 1U package? preferably 1500VA 1000W like the Cyberpower.

found this, anybody have any experience? the IEC female connectors in the back is not exactly the most convenient either...

You doing this in LA or the UK ? (the link you listed was for a UK site) We found a nice single space 15k unit and have it in a Pro Tools rack. I need to pull it out since our entire truck now has a UPS , but will look at the make and model tomorrow and let you know.

BTW if you are in the UK we have the identical 240 volt model that we obtained by mistake, and obviously can't use in the US. It is brand new and we'll sell it cheap .

Let me know

Mark

yrplace, i'm in LA as well. and is that 15k or 1.5k? please keep me posted on the brand/model.

stafs, yeah that APC looks good, about the same as the Cyberpower (but twice the cost)... regardless we're def looking for a 1U.

rmx16 & willi - thanks for the recommendation but we'd prefer an double conversion online for no power switching and pure sine wave clean power..

I have a tripplite 500va that served me well the past year but Im looking to sell it if your interested. shipping to LA might make it not worth it tho as batteries are heavy.
