Thumbs up Wireless Solution for satellite speaker + power supply for audio technica

Hi Everyone, usual stuff. long time reader, first time poster

Two questions that have my brain buzzing at the moment! I'd really appreciate some help and ideas please on how best to do this.

1. I've got 2 x QSC K12 speakers and I do live music at weddings in Sydney. I'd like to have the flexibility to set up a third satellite speaker when I set up sound in larger rooms. Could you please suggest a wireless solution for this please? I was thinking some sort of transmitter to plug into the back of one of the K12's and transmit to the third speaker...

2. I'm purchasing an Audio Technica ATW-3141b wireless mic and receiver from the USA... but I live and work in Sydney, Australia. Does anyone know where I might get an Australian 240v AC power supply for a decent price? ...The 120v USA power supply wont work here.

thanks all!
Jem

Jem -

Looking at the manual for the little bugger indicates the power supply is external 12 - 18 volts. Surely you can rustle one up in Oz if not from the manufacturer, AT. They sell other places beside the US, eh.

I use K&H PAS100 portable active PA speakers when I need a completely portable system.

We have a Sennheiser wireless receiver installed in each battery powered speaker.
This comes in very handy when line of sight is available, but the cable run is not.

Thumbs up

wow - I bought a replacement power supply from TAG for $22.95 plus $5 shipping.

Just to put things in persepective.

Audio Technica 3141b.

Australian Store Price approx AUD$1300
USA including shipping US$499

plus AUD$28 for a new power supply...

why would i want to buy anything from australia? don't talk to me about warranty... i can have the first system die on me and purchase a brand new unit and STILL come out in front...
