Properly pre recorded tanpura

Doe anyone know if there are properly recorded acoustic tanpura drones available? Thanks for any info!

Try this: Tanpura CD, Indian Vocal, Bansuri Practice Recording
Apart from that, you probably get more flexibility with an electronic tanpura with sampled sounds, e.g. Saarang Miraj
You can even get Tanpura plugins these days... Professional Tanpura Software

Do you know anything of the recording quality of the tanpura.
Is it done gruendlich?

I work with a number of musicians doing Kirtans - and for the past couple of years they always use an iphone app, through a stereo direct box we bring. It sounds pretty good, better than the old Shruti boxes.

I don't ifone so cannot tell you what it is called, but they have to put it in stereo for decent sound.

:-) I think Daniel here above mentioned them in his last UL, they even have an EQ on board. Still trying the acoustic vibe. David Courtney's CD seems pretty sound but a bit slower would be nicer....
