Talking We build environments...

Elroy, dual expanding wall mobile unit is inches way from your next event.

Elroy (The Bread Mobile and eventually Cosmo) can be configured any which way you want.

We build environments...

From capture to pleasure.

The passenger side 2080 point audio patchbay is completely analog and can comfortably handle up to three 48 channel (completely interfaced) desks.

The driver side patchbay shall have a 48 channel analog guest patchbay within the digital A/V universe.
The A/V portion shall also include a variety of interfacing options...
IP; MADI; Fiber; AES; coax; triax and such...

We are inches away from your next production venture.

New photos of the progress shall follow shortly.

What, you people won't comment without pictures or something?

This is great, big news. I was inside Elroy in 2006 (2005?) and it was essentially ready to go then, by anyone's standards except for Steve's. A little rough around the edges but still functional in some capacity. Drop in whatever gear and drive it away.

But no...the field general had to go and blow it completely over the top, ride it down, and drag it up again.

I'd wish you luck with it, but I know you don't need it. This is the kind of idea and execution that just works itself out. You know who to call when your passenger-side patch monkey calls in sick, pal.

Thanks Sean,

Those were very cool words and I appreciate it much.

In any event, pictures will be created and everyone that cares will see the magic of this awesome vehicle of love.

What you have crammed into the truck is amazing. I am looking forward to seeing what is inside Elroy. The only way you can afford that kind of gear is by being really good at what you do, QED. Hats off to you, and Elroy. The single Facebook pic is a great tease. It looks like a real masterpiece.

Cheers

I didn't expect anything, just like I didn't expect that this forum would turn into the tremendous forum it has evolved to, but it did...

And, if it didn't I'd still be good with it because I know that I worked my arse off to make things work around here.

The idea of this thread was to show my friends, associates and GS buddies that frequent the forum our progress with Elroy.

You know, have them check out the photos and comments on facebook and such, without really doing a serious launch here.
I really did not want to upload my crappy smart phone pics, but I wanted to still show off the good and valuable work we did getting this (truly) mobile studio closer to completion.

Thanks!

And, the funny thing is...

That picture shows a PreSonus StudioLive desk and a iMac.
I cannot wait to show off the truck with three desks and all the toys or maybe a three piece band shot or maybe a mastering session or video post scenario or even an on location ADR situation.

That's the beauty of this design concept...

We do indeed build environments from capture to pleasure.

With a half a billion members I didn't think it would have been an issue.

Hey, Steve! I too am one living in the dark ages without a Face-crook page. How about a quick peak at a couple of updates since I last saw it (what are those updates anyway?)? HVAC and rear door in yet? Isn't there already an Elroy thread? If you post pictures it might be cool to do it there so we can see the evolution of this amazing (-ly long) project. I may be purchasing a Nord keyboard in the city tomorrow (Tuesday) and if I do are you around the shop? I'd love to check out the progress in person.

I hear you Thomas. I do plan to upload some pictures to that 'Elroy' thread, but I didn't want to use my smart phone for that.
I also wanted to stage the shot a bit, so it will be done, but not right away.

Half of the HVAC system is in; we still have to mount the outside units.
I changed the design of the rear door, so that's not in yet...

In any event, I will post a few pictures here, because I said I would.
The other thread will indeed have a boat load of pictures once we create them and get them uploaded.

We're in the shop after 1PM today, so it would be great to see you if you're coming in.

I've mixed a lot of records and broadcasts with 1031s, but I favor the focals as of late.
