Talking 24' Box truck mobile unit

I am just beginning a new adventure in mobile recording. I have in possession a 24' box truck for my start. I am going to build the front 10' to 12' out as a control room and the rest will be used for equipment storage and transport room. I was wondering if there are any suggestions on how to insulate the truck for sound puposes in the most affordable way possible. I thought of using black fiber board and acoustic tiles. Any suggestions?

Search this forum. We have plenty of discussion on designing and building mobile units... The forum isn't that large so, you will find them soon enough.

I'm in a rush to head out, this is why I didn't do the searching for you...

I normally cut and paste the searches within my post.

I'll come back to this thread when I find more time. I'll see what I can do for you if you don't have the time or luck finding past posts on this subject. If applicable, please report back you findings.

Good luck.

OK so, I had to do it...

Search this forum -- Use the words Designing in one search and Build in another search. You will find a bunch of threads on the subject.

I had enough time to do that part...

Find some groovey threads and cut and paste them for us to review....
