Thumbs up Thoughts on "Remote Possibilities in Acoustic Music & Location Recording"

Some of you may have seen the thread I started on recording in Masonic Temples because of their usually good acoustics. What happened in the thread is what makes this board in general and this forum in particular so great. There was a heap of useful information, reflection, advice and encouragement for me and a flowering of just good sharing, between Masons and others.

This is the strength of this forum. I am constantly impressed by the depth of talent and stature in the field that some of our members have. What really impresses me is how generously good, sound advice is shared. I know of no other board which has the collegiality of this one. And I do believe that the just and gentle hand of our moderator has a lot to do with it. James Brown is not the only "Hardest Working Man in Show Business" anymore. Steve runs his business and this board.

For some folks here this stuff is elementary. For me it is my master class. Thank you all of you and especially Steve for keeping this thing upright and on an even keel.

Hats off to us all.

Link?
I can't believe I missed that one. I've been in a few Masonic Temples, on purpose often.

I won't use pitch correcting software. I use "coaching" maybe you've heard of it. It keeps working even when you don't have it on.

Thumbs up Advice, observations and enlightenment is what this forum is all about

I believe boojum was referring to this forum specifically, but I do understand what you mean. GS is indeed an awesome Website on many levels.

IMO, the Remote Possibilities... forum speaks volumes to all sorts of folks; we discuss a wide range of topics within a close knit family; we have a great mix and wide range of audio individuals that (for the most part) get along very well despite our differences or particular and separate mindsets...

I love this forum and appreciate the fact that boojum brought this to our attention.

Useful information is what we are all about and we could not accomplish this without the wonderful members that contribute to this seriously awesome forum each and every day.

Thank you one and all for helping me make this the place it has become.
I am nothing without you folks! Like boojum said, "Hats off to us all."
Now, let us all take a bow.

I don't post very often...mostly because I can find the answers to most of my questions by browsing thru the all the subject links at the top of THIS forum. Wonderful job!

Wink Tag, you're it...

Thanks for pointing this out; I work hard on keeping those tags current.
They were not so popular in the beginning, but I had faith that they would eventually get noticed and be used more often.

I'm glad to see them catching on.

Fuzzy, that was kind of you to say.

Hey, there are currently 458 active users checking out this forum!
Wow, that's pretty wild considering we usually have 80 to 170 at any one given time...

Gee, I hope this becomes a trend... or may be not; I'm not too sure about it yet.

This has been the ONE place with polite and professional advice. I have learned more from the posts here than anywhere else. I hope I could pay in kind.

And this has also cost me quite a lot... (orpheusmaselecsennheiser8000DPAmogamiADAMcranesongavocetomygood...)
