Sennheiser hd650 or Grado RS-2

OK. Headphones for mixing when I can't have volume. I would like these to be as accurate as possible. I don't like in-ear phones, BTW.
I can't deal with spending that much on the RS-1 but could potentially spend a couple $100 more for the Grado. I realize that with the Senn I'll probably need a headphone amp (which will add $300 to the price.)
Would you rather have a headphone amp and a Senn 650 or just a Grado RS-1 or 2?
I'm leaning toward the Senn right now. I heard them and they sound good. Haven't been able to hear the Grado's, just reviews--some say they are great, others that they are overpriced. I wouldn't see the Senn being overpriced at $300.
I'd really appreciate any last advice on this. BTW I have Senn HD280 for tracking.

It's a matter of taste, perhaps. I love Grados, my boss love his Senns. The Sennheisers are a lot more comfortable, I'll say that much.

Try both.

buying RS-1's-- amp or not?

Alright.
I've decided. I'm going to get the RS-1's after spending way too much time on picking. My next question. Should I order the RA-1 Grado headphone amp with it (I'm a total slut), or just play them for now out of my DAC and wait for the headphone amp?
Part of me says that they are so good, I won't need the headphone amp. The other part of me says that I should have a headphone amp to get the full sound.
Any advice? And no, I'm not spending $1500 on the Grace headphone amp.
