What chassis part is this? And what multiconnector should fit on this?

Hoi Muziekschuur, That looks like socapex connectors. E.g. Dutch broadcasting used / uses it quite a lot, you'll see it installed in most larger concert halls and music locations around the country. But I even found one in a studio somewhere far out in China. The actual connection is quite secure, but it's easy to damage the pins when you don't rotate the connector for the correct fit and try to push it in. I believe the sockets are always male, so when plugging in a cable you are supposed to never have the wrong end. Also, it's a small plug carrying a large amount of channels (up to 24?). Best, Dirk |

I contacted a dutch company who use Socapex and Harting for their harnesses they manufacture for clients and they told me they do not know this connector....

Looks like a Cannon 28 pin to me. Nine balanced signals in 27 pins. http://www.ittcannon.com/uploadedFil...s/ringlock.pdf |
