Talking The world's cheapest microphone hanger...

Thomann price is EUR 0.25, including VAT.
K&M Kabelhalter 20mm für Mikrostativ

These normally clip to 20 mm diameter stands to hold cables in place. Seem sturdy enough to be clipped on 21 mm Schoepses, or even to 22 mm Neumann KMs. Clipped to the cable's connector instead of the mic body, a KM18x will point down about 60° (which happens to be what I often use for section spots anyway).
A clove hitch around the clip's center will secure the cable. Works best with thin cables. With thicker (standard) cables, it might be sufficient to just pass it through the clip. One might need fishing line to keep the mic pointing where it should.

Nice! But how would you keep the mic from swinging left or right?

Edit: oh well fishing line right. I thought maybe there was an easier way?

Most times, if you give it enough time, the mic line will "spin out" and the mic will come to rest where a minor twist of the cable will bring it around right and it will remain so. I use mono the breast mic sets back to get them into place fore and aft.

Gotta have a lot of set up time to fly mics. I rarely get the time.

I use the little Schoeps Flute clips (FA-1?) to hold the MK's to a carbon bar.
