Working a recording in small club with a full complement Jazz Band can be challenging.

One of my friends used a single well positioned stereo microphone I made for him to capture the following recording:

Not bad for <$800 worth of recording gear!

Very cool, thick and full sound. Good balance for a one mic recording. I like it! Is it your own mic design? Please do tell us about it!

Careful how you proceed with this chap. You'll find that in every last post he makes, he's plugging himself or wares. I for one find his passive approach, trying to disguise his shilly self to be off putting and would like to block him.

To his defense, he did state that a "stereo mic" he made was used.
