Tried this in the high end forum to no avail, probably too narrow a ?? Any remotesters using an Xsum that can comment on the headphone amp quality? Thanks |

I haven't used the Xsum, but Speck does build a good product line. I have one of their older summing mixers and I'm happy with the results I got. Have you had a chance to get one to try out? If not, perhaps someone will chime in, since I bumped the thread.

Steve, thanks for the response and bump. I have not tried it yet...should probably just pick one up. I do some remote work, mostly choirs, small orchestras. Want to put the Xsum in a rack with an HD24XR and travel light. now I'm schlepping around my Ramsa DA& for monitoring only. X-sum seems to be a good solution and would double for summing. this would also accommodate the occasional multi-track date. |
