Talking preamp for At4051 >m-10 portable recorder rig

I really kinda like these mics with a sd mp-2 but they are hard to find.Whats available these days that may impart just a slight bit of warmth to complement this set up without anything becoming overpowering. Thanks

The MixPre is very similar to the MP-2. You can find MP-2s for sale on ebay or Taperssection.com - Index.

The SD302 is much more expensive but pretty amazing, does T power so you can buy all those cheap Tpower mikes that pop up on the classifides. Also does MS decoding like the MP2.

HA just saw your crosspost in TS. Everyone there will recommend a Lunatec V3 or V2.

i love at4051s - great mics. the best pres i have found for those mics include a variety of the neve clones, like the vintech 1272 and 1073, chameleon labs 7602, even the GAP73 - but those are not exactly all that portable. for portable, you might consider a used sonosax SX-M2. if you need cheap, you might consider one of the custom made pres from one of the guys over at TS that offer warm mods, or a warm-mod UA-5.
