Question connecting 3 or 4 speakers to a cs 800

I have a peavey cs 800, my band is having a practice to check out our Pa and I have not had time to do the research.
they want to connect 3 or 4 speakers to my cs 800. I know 2 are 8 ohm speakers I don't know what the other speakers are.
I was going to connect the 8 ohm speakers on one side, one with each 1/4 output on the 1 channel output then connect whatever they have one the other side on the channel 2 outputs.

I should be able to connect 2 8 ohm speakers to each side?(if theirs are 8 ohm)
Thanks

Your CS800 can handle speaker Z as low as 4 ohms. If you connect your 8 ohm speakers in paralell it's probably going to be fine, but you might make the amp run very hot. Series connection will make for lower output but a less stressed amp. As to the unknown speakers, I don't know

Thanks!
I don't know if these are set up for series, that's sort of like daisy-chaining?
I'm assuming the unknown speaker(s) are 8 ohms.
This amp is sort of two separate amps, in that the ohmage doesn't have to be the same on each side does it?
THANKS!

Can I just ask, what's the need for two pairs of speakers?

You'll only get 3dB of extra volume by running two pairs, it'll sound considerably worse, and you're asking twice as much from the amplifier...

never got back to this!
Just running monitors off this amp.
I'd like 2 in front and 1 for the drummer.
I found out more about the amp in the meantime, thanks!

This is incorrect.

If they were the same speakers, yes you'd get 3dB more.

But they're not. So depending on the efficiency of the speakers, it may be more or less than 3dB SPL.
