I've been mixing FOH on a tablet (via WiFi) for a couple of years now. It works great on Yamaha consoles, keep having problems on multiple I-Lives (last night in fact). I've never mixed monitors (at least the type that would warrant a separate console) from the tablet, I prefer to have the real thing for speed. Thanks for turning me on to the multitouch LCD's, though. I am looking at picking one of these up this week to give it a shot. Have you ever used that particular brand? It seems that there are several out, including Dell and HP, so I wonder how they compare. |
