Thread Starter |  Last Night, a little location jazz quintet
Thought I'd share a little taste of a recording I did last night. Threw the raw takes into Nuendo about an hour ago and was quite pleased with how they turned out. The specs: Piano: 2 DPA 4061s under the lid Drums: 2 Oktava MC-012s overhead Bass: AT4033 Sax: KSM 27 > Dav BG1 Trumpet KSM 27 > Dav BG1 Recorded into logic at 24/44.1 with a MOTU 896HD The room is a small jazz club in Boston Just a quick bounce with no automation. Sounds sweet  Good band too...The bass sounds a little too 150-300 Hz-ish with not enough going on below it to my ears (listening through A7s). Maybe something a little EQing can change? |
