I might have not made it clear though, we need to know the SPL of one of the speakers from the mixing desk... it's a hundred yards away from the mixing desk,

I need to be able to see the SPL levels 'remotely', like with a wireless reading of the SPL,

any ideas?

Place the measurement mic where you want it, and run it through the snake to your meter. Simple, no?

Or use a standard wireless mic unit attached to your meter.

Doesn't seem like much of a problem.

I'd venture a guess that if you get the system properly calibrated you will know the SPL everywhere from one basic measurement. Is there some random volume control that makes this one stack changable?

If it needs adjustment on the fly, calibrate the fader that sends to it, maybe?
