Here's what happens when you shift a group of multitrack objects in Samplitude, assuming that subsequent objects will move along, but for some reason they don't... Took me a while to figure out why the track timings didn't work out... Anybody else? Daniel |

It has happened to me, too. It is only hard to figure out the first time. ![]() Great recording, BTW.

I have an old CD where the harpsichord is on the right and the trumpet on the left. At a certain point, the trumpet and harpsichord suddenly swap places for a few bars. And it's supposed to be a full digital recording, so I don't know how they managed an editing error like that.

In 1994 or so, I had someone edit a DAT recording for me on some kind of Atari based system, if I'm not mistaken. This thing had a habit of swapping channels on a whim... It's just a single altered bit or so, doesn't take much.
