Talking Accidents in editing

Here's what happens when you shift a group of multitrack objects in Samplitude, assuming that subsequent objects will move along, but for some reason they don't... Took me a while to figure out why the track timings didn't work out...

Anybody else?

It has happened to me, too. It is only hard to figure out the first time.

Great recording, BTW.

I have an old CD where the harpsichord is on the right and the trumpet on the left. At a certain point, the trumpet and harpsichord suddenly swap places for a few bars. And it's supposed to be a full digital recording, so I don't know how they managed an editing error like that.

In 1994 or so, I had someone edit a DAT recording for me on some kind of Atari based system, if I'm not mistaken. This thing had a habit of swapping channels on a whim... It's just a single altered bit or so, doesn't take much.
