Question Bwav timestamp in 96Khz

Hi all,

Does anybody have experience recording in 96Khz for picture?

I did a little test today recording 96khz Bwav in Pyramix, chasing to LTC and synching to BB video.
When checking the timestamp in Bwav reader, it told me the timestamp was like 01:00
or something in stead of 14:30 or so...
In 48Khz, all was fine.

Bug, or am I missing something?

Thanks

Care to share more details ? (PC/Mac, version etc.).
I've quickly checked BWAVReader 1.1 for Mac and timestamps at 44.1 and 48 kHz seem ok but 96 kHz appears to have a problem.
BWAV Writer 1.06ub (Mac) seems to be ok though.

I'm not sure, I was testing with running our Pyramix at 96khz and found this problem,
I reported to merging support and they replied with a screenshot of Bwav reader showing the wrong timestamp and sound devices Waveagent showing the correct one..

I myself only checked on Bwav reader for PC (downloaded a couple of months ago).
This Friday I'm planning on doing some more testing and shall report..
But the Merging guys were 100% sure their timestamp was according to EBU norm, and Bwav reader could not read it correctly.

So yeah, it seems that Bwav reader (PC, version from couple of months ago) cannot correctly read timestamps in 96Khz, 48 Khz is fine..
Wave agent can read everything correctly..
