Hi, if you are recording orchestra regularly I would be genuinely interested in your opinion. I am looking on a few microphone options but found that two of the nicer ones (I mean nicer sounding to my ears) are not the quietest there are. I have heard noisier orchestral records so I believe it should be ok but want to make sure this is still the case for recordings of today and would love to hear some opinions on that. Here are two test recordings out of a bunch that I did, the beginning and end are consciously unedited for displaying the noise floor. http://www.strings-on-demand.com/dem...KV525_06_x.mp3 http://www.strings-on-demand.com/dem...KV525_07_x.mp3 Thank you Hannes |
