Question Compact Multi-Channel Mic Pre w/ Processing?

The lead instrumentalist and I of a touring Irish band are looking for personal on stage mic pre-amps/processors. We play multiple instruments that require different processing settings and multiple microphones.

I.E: 1 (or perhaps 2) mics for whistles/flutes that needs recallable eq settings for high whistle, low whistle, and flute. 2-3 mics for uilleann pipes that need eqing and mixing for one output to FOH. 1 mic on my bodhrán (frame drum) that needs recallable eq presets (& [multi-band] compression ideally) for the different tippers (drum sticks) I use. Separate units - one for him, and one for me.

Reverbs, Delays, Auto-Tuning, and harmonizing would be nice, but not necessary, as the TC Electronic Helicon he HAS been using (not enough inputs ideally) is available. Also foot pedal recallable presets with tap tempo would be really sweet. The pre-amp quality should be at least medium grade, and decent A/Ds and/or DSP acceleration would be a plus, as we both have recording systems where we could put them to use, and justify spending more money.

Our budget is around $1000 each, and I would not be opposed to spending up to $3k if it was something of a quality, say, like Metric Halo ULN-2.

Perhaps we are looking for a sort of extremely compact digital mixing board? Multiple input floor processor? The more compact the better.

One candidate is the Muse Research MuseBox. 2 mic/inst/line inputs and a built in plugin processor seems to come close to what we want.

Any insight?

Best of luck!
