Talking Compact portable EQ & Comp/Limiter for Live Laptop Gigs

I am looking for a SMALL & COMPACT EQ & Comp/Limiter solution to plug my laptop into for live performance sets. Sometimes my sets suffer from Mackie Mixer or DJ Mixer EQ and amplification. I ideally want ot be able to bring my own compact stereo EQ & Comp/Limiter and handle it on my own. Something like the FMR RNLA is something I am considering, but are there any EQ's also of that size I should consider? And any other comp/limiters to consider?

RNLA is great for that. i use it on the main outs myself for gigs and sometimes in recording as well.

but a pair of JoeMeek Three-Q's would do the job well also (comp + EQ)
($199 each)

hmm doesn't the ThreeQ only take a hi-z in and a mic in? also any other opinions on the matter? any other small portable EQ's or comps that are of decent quality?

I don't have mine anymore, but I think the old VC3Q had a line input. I used it for live shows with a trio on a single tube mic, very handy for something like that. It was a pretty decent sounding little guy, I've heard the new one is maybe even better (quieter).

For even smaller (1/3 RU) the Presonus EQ3B was nice. They make a matching compressor, I've never used it.
