[QUOTE=mljung;5027268]I'm very fond of Lewis Carrol actually. Besides my love for sound I work with images. [working on a book about "The Decorated Children" at the moment]

Hi Mads

What is this work you are doing (The Decorated Children) - is this a book with illustration or a book of illustrations?

As far as I see it, this site is where people discuss their opinions about how they record, not what they record. However, the latter does have an inevitable influence on the former. The old problem of trying to link the objective with the subjective.

What happens between my ears is unique - likewise yours - and in the realm of the subjective. If your can find two or more people who agree with your observations, that then becomes a objective fact. Until then, disputing the veracity of what you hear against what I hear is in the words of Shakespeare, "sound and fury, signifying nothing" (Macbeth).

Or as I said earlier: De gustibus - et sonus - non disputandum est.

Nobilmente - Thanks for your interest!

It's a picture book - a series of "storytelling images" that I'm in the process of making. The only words in the book will be titles and maybe an introductory note - a foreword.

Did I answer your question..?

You did thanks Mads

A sort of - modern day - visual, Hans Christian-Anderson!!

The drawings are surreal, or tending toward that.

Good luck with it, it's different.

All the best
