Talking Troy Night Out, the November edition!

From last Friday's wild street party, all captured with my faithful PCM-D50, which continues to startle with its extraordinarily accurate capture of any and all environments: windy, rain-slicked streets and noisy craft fairs, to the hush of an ascending elevator.

Of the 80 minute report, the highlights would have to be: 71:10, saxophone whiz Keith Pray playing an other-worldly and gorgeous slow blues... and on the opposite end of the spectrum, at 24:00 I try to conduct a conversation with a manic kid over the din of his art gallery installation: dozens of mis-firing Casio keyboards and a turntable that has a vitamin jar spinning around on it, kicking the needle back again and again forming an endless loop... right on the edge of the frontiers of creativity, probably well over the edge.
