Just thought i would this. Whats The best place or method's you prefer to hooking your outboard gear up? For example would it be best to place an outboard gate in the signal chain before the board? Or possibly to the instrument TRS insert channel? Any preferred methods and or tips are good, thanks |

It depends on the equipment, but usually you would want to patch your processing via the channel insert. Sometimes I patch devices on the direct, group or buss outputs.
