what type of effects are you looking for?

Well the vocalist in the band i work for used to use a foot effects unit for misc voices. But mainly for some slap mid/ slap back. I would like to just add some delay and other stuff. I guess i cant exactly tell you i would just like an overall good unit something i can mess with and get what i like. BTW i tossed that pedal, it produced wicked feedback with his hand held mic

Any suggestions at all on some good gear would be appreciated.
