Good news. I hope we will see you around GS as I am not part of MySpace.

Cheers

Hi Bruce,

Nice page! Did you use the nu47 instead of the neumann on 'We stand tall'?
btw. do you have any contact with Trond or Volker these days?
Really miss the studio days in Norway. It was truly inspirational!

kind regards,
fellow viking Morgan

I'm not Bruce, but he might not check this sub forum too often. Yes he did use his NU-47. Great vocalist, that whole tracks sounds so good it makes you want to cry, he played me the mix.

Martin,

I know you don't mean any ill will towards this forum, but I must clarify something...

This is not a sub forum in any stretch of the imagination.
I believe that this forum is one of the (many) forums that makes Gearslutz as diverse as it has become.

Each and every forum (eleven in total to date) under "The Forums" list can stand on their own.
IMO, all the main GS forums have value and should not in any means be considered a sub forum, especially this one.

You're right, I don't.

Please forgive my poor choice of words, what I meant to say is this is a specialized forum (compared to the more generic 'high end' and 'too much gear..')

Personally think this forum has much more to offer, simply because people are more dedicated, so there's less 'white noise'.

Have said this before, but English is still my third language, so sometimes it gets in the way. Sorry.

Be blessed,

Martin

Martin,

Sometimes words can be a poor vehicle of expression for me, so I totally understand where you're coming from.

Thank you for the very kind words about this forum.

IMHO, this forum is a gem that should always be kept polished.

Thanks again and all the best!

Bruce,

Quality wise, those were the best sounding myspace songs I've heard in awhile So tired of having to scramble to make sure I don't blow a tweeter that was like a breath of fresh air.
