I am going out on tour and will be recording 48 tracks simultaneously into a Pro Tools HD system. I need to backup my files every night after each show, but only have about an hour to do it! I was also hoping to mail out these backups back home for safekeeping, hopefully every night. Hard drives would be expensive to mail back each night, and DVDs take too long, I think? Any suggestions???

I would bring a laptop with me, "save session copy as..." to an external FW800 drive, then go back to the hotel/bus/whatever and either burn it to DVDs (to mail back), or depending on your internet connection and upload bandwidth, FTP it somewhere. Either that, or bite the bullet and mail a hard drive back each morning.
