Talking World Series - JZ & Alicia in Yankee Stadium

watched this on my HD setup tonite & thought the sound was terrible. could not hear the band at all, just the vocals. it was as if there were no DI's, only a couple of stereo feeds. horrible echo everywhere. hard to believe they couldn't do better than this.

(go Phillies )

so nobody here even knows anyone who had anything to do with this travesty? was there a problem with the DI feeds from the instruments, or were there none?

Perhaps someone does know more about this, but we usually don't want to talk about the bad (mix) stuff too much, especially when you're going out live to millions of homes and such.
