I just tried to mount hard drives in my HD24 and they get to 73% and then un-mounted. I am hoping this is something simple-- but something inside says it's not. I tried 2 different drives with each in both slots to make sure it was not a position problem. One of these had worked fine in the past, and the other was going to require a re-format. Any ideas? Rich, that happened to me and I had to have Alesis repair it. Fortunately it was under warranty. No problems after.

Glad you did not have to pay for it-- do you have any idea what it would have cost otherwise? Rich |

| No idea Rich. Alesis has certified contract repair centers. I'd get hold of one and ask for a worst-case estimate before sending it in. Of course Alesis tech support can get you in contact.

I had this problem once and it turned out to be a broken solder joint on the circuit board which I was able to fix myself. If you're brave you may want to pop the top and have a look around.
