Talking Basie covers Ellington

Here's a little video for your enjoyment...

Rare footage of Count Basie & His Orchestra performing the Duke Ellington classic, "It Don't Mean a Thing (If it Ain't got that Swing)". Oh, the irony.

Douglas.

P.S. I believe the sound was recorded by someone on the remote forum, but I can't remember which post I downloaded it from, so please, if it's you, let me know and you will of course be credited (or I'll remove the video, if you prefer!).

Wonderful!!!

I have wondered whom bought up al this old footage and made it freely available. We spend hours in the office watching/listening to this.

Thanks.
