Live Sound For Small Venue.

Hello, I have a question for those who are way more educated then my in this matter.

A friend of mine is setting up a small venue for adult latin bands to play in and hang out in FL. He is also going to have a DJ performing when there's no act. I know there are differences between a Public Address system and a Sound Re-enforcement System. Which would would be best. Also he owns a set of ElectroVoice Speakers that he wants to use, not sure the wattage or the model. Its a 3000 square feet place. What gear would you recommend we for something like this. We need it to sound decent but nothing too fancy.

That's a fairly small venue. You won't need much.

Two CVA-28 and a powered sub would be more than fine (unless the DJ likes it stoopid loud).
