| portable setup I would need to edit my 96k pro tools So is this the cheapest portable setup I would need to edit my 96k pro tools files since the Mbox does not handle 96k files ? And would I need power for this box ? Pro Tools M-Powered $349 M-FireWire 410 $400 |

| Gear maniac | instead of the firewire 410, you could get the firewire solo for $249. Both of these units can be powered via the firewire bus. Aaron |

| Gear maniac | um .... well... of course they need power. But they can get it from the firewire bus... meaning, yes, you can use them like you'd use the Mbox. (the Mbox gets its power from the USB bus) Aaron |
