Talking Boom Recorder

Hi,

I just downloaded the demo version of Boom Recorder, seem like a cool app. But every time I record something, all file are on the finder of my laptop. Is there a way to set root folder for all your sound file and other on the Boom Recorder.

I tried but all came out the same????

thanks

go to the patchbay window- and define the path there. I just tried it and it worked for me. It defaults to the desktop though.

its a nice app.

You have to change your record folder. It is a little confusing, but the system works well.

Boom recorder is now our Muktitrack recorder of choice here at the RTBF in Belgium (Public national broadcaster).
We NEVER had any problem with BR, we have several setups on Mac pro's and Macbook pro's.
All our OB vans and studios are equiped with at least one BR station.

Apparently they don't sell the license for this application anymore--you can only use the demo for a limited amount of time. Any workarounds??

Email the owner/programmer (Take Vos, email on the site), see if he'll sell it to you with you knowing the limitations the current versions has on Snow Leopard. The earlier versions on earlier Mac OS should be fine too. The location sound community is fervently hoping Take updates his app to run on SL very soon!

Here is what Take has to say "Yes, I've discontinued the sale of Boom Recorder 7.22.

I am working on 8.0 which is a rewrite of Boom Recorder. I am busy making a feature set, and you may submit your own features at (no promises):
boomrecorder – Trac

Cheers,
Take"

Got this from Boom Recorder discontinued???

So it will be updated. I can not wait. Great program.
