Talking Travel case for RME Fireface 400 tips?

Hi I have a RME fireface 400. I often travel with it to record in different locations, but have not found yet a satisfactory transport case for it.

What are people in this forum using to transport their fireface 400? Any good hints?

Regards,

Santiago

For mine, I went to Maplin and bought a cheapo camera case with pluck-foam and use that.

For a similar sized item (my Grace m902b) I did the same thing, but had the case professionally foamed.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I will pay Maplin's a visit and see if I find a suitable case!

I use a Samsonite laptop case like this one.

In this I have room for my FF400, AEA TRP, Laptop and other small stuff.
Works for me.

SKB have a nice new range of Peilcase style cases available with foam or fabric compartments

bump this thread, looking for a lightweight half-rack for my fireface 400. Want to be able to operate it within the case, if I could fit my FW hard drive in the rack (2U Half-Rack) that would be perfect.
