hey gs, i'm about to build some cases for my mackie hr824s so i can transport them from one studio to another w/o fear of ripping the cones. i do NOT need a professionally built flight case, however if anyone has ever built something like these, i'd really appreciate if you could share what DID and DIDN'T work for you as far as materials, design, etc. again - just want to build something inexpensive so i can through them in the backseat or trunk w/o fear ![]() thanks! b |

I've seen some pics where Steve Remote put one in an SBK 6 space for field use. You'll have to ask him how he secured it in there.

bmsander- Did you ever complete your project? I have been considering the exact same idea, for the same monitors, based off of the same fear of ripping the cones. Obviously if you can share any experiences it would be very helpful to me. Or if anybody else has any ideas... |
