I was browsing trough an icelandic mixing forum, and a guy was putting up for sale a bunch of stuff he had somewhere in storage.

2. T.C. Electronic TC2240 parametric equalizer/ preamplifer
3. dbx (120xp) subharmonic synthesizer
4. Sony (mu-L021) 2ch compressor Limiter
5. dbx professional products 1066 compressor/limiter/gate
6. Drawmer - Dual compressor/limiter DL-21
7. Drawmer M-500 Dynamics Processor

I've been doing a lot of FOH mixing at a local concert hall, and their budget is none and gear is not great.

We managed to get an Allen&Heath GL2200, TC Electronics M-One and D-Two, but then all I have is a single 4 channel Behringer Compressor/Limiter/Gate, and a Behringer sterio Compressor/Limiter. and it's usually in full use as a noise gate for drums. (kick, 3 toms)

I've was thinking about maybe buying some gear (if I can get it for a good price) just to own personally, use when I'm FOH-ing and maybe for tracking. (mostly looking at the compressors/gates)


Any of those something I should jump for ?

I was thinking about throwing an offer for about 10.000-15.000kr for each (at today's rate that's $80-$117)

I sent him a mail asking what he was asking for, no reply yet.

What should I bid on the Dawmer dual gate, dual compressor and the dbx 1066 ?
