Talking Who does the sound for David Letterman?

I'm always amazed at how great bands sound on Letterman, do they have a staff sound guys, or do bands usually bring someone with them? Phoenix sounded amazing last night, even better than on SNL.

What a great sound and performance. I very impressed with the band and the mix.

There is a great staff sound guy, but guests do bring their own mixers. I went to the show live in '06. The house band sounded perfect live. They are all great players.

In contrast to the new Tonite Show, which sounds abysmal
