| Lives for gear |
fromme - for this testing, i used the dbx preamps in the lexicon U42s interface on the 4051 and fathead and a mackie onyx 400f on the 184s. the dbx are perhaps not the best pres, but they do seem useable. i know you will enjoy your new km184s. i will be using an ORTF pair of 184s (10 ft up and about 15 feet back) to record a flute and harp duo in the wonderful St Mary's church (a very large, reverberant cruciform catholic church) in Mt Angel, OR, this coming friday. i will probably post a sample or two from that soon. good luck.
