I'm looking to try and use a remote fader pack on a Yamaha digital desk. I know that I can use Studio manager to remote control the desk, but is there a way to hook up a fader pack over midi to contol DCAs? or perhaps connect the fader pack to the Studio Manager computer and control it that way. I just need to have more than one fader under my fingers at once during times when I can't be where the desk is. Thanks. Z. |

in > Set Up > Special Functions on a DM1000 / DM2000 / 01V2 etc ... you should be able to specify a remote port for the MIDI and using that in conjunction with a customized user remote layer, you might be able to remote the faders you need. If that fails, put it in DAW mode, and use the DAW to do translation from your MIDI faders to the desk. Goodluck! |
