I've been using them for over a year now without any problems. Not sure if there are any long term problems but as long as you aren't pumping it with too much juice I don't see how it could matter. Although the extra weight might take a few years off of YOUR life

Looks good to me, how long do they last? I'm looking for a long life backup to the NIMH's I put inside the unit.
