just saw the movie, wow, 4 minutes in.... what a mobile studio....i'm so jealous!!!!

I got to watch it too!!!

It's full of ribbons and they use a U47 on a live gig! Etha James' mic is pretty strange. There's a lot of vintage audio gear!!!

Now I want a 50s cadillac!!!

The mobile studio was the trunk (?) of a Cadillac!!!

Alan Lomax goes to the fields to record Muddy Waters for the first time. He records a sort of LP and replays it for Muddy, he's so impressed that it sounds "like a record" that stops working in the fields and go to live to Chicago.

It's a film and I am not a blues expert, but it's a nice film to see if you are into music or into recording.
